PRIVACY
Any personal information submitted on Transponderisland.com is for the sole purpose of your order.  Information is not shared or sold to third parties.  Email addresses are used only for confirmation emails, tracking information, company products releated offers or direct website representative contact.
LOST PACKAGES
Transponderisland.com is responsible for shipping the order out in a timely fashion. Once the order is sent out, it is up to the mail service to deliver the package on time. Transponderisland.com cannot be held liable for lost packages or late delivery times caused by the delivery services.  Tracking information is sent to the email address given on the invoice, if provided.  Customer must contact  us with any problems or delays after the order is shipped.
SHIPPING ADDRESS
Transponderisland.com ships orders to the exact address the customer has given on their invoice.  If the customer has provided an incomplete or incorrect address, and the package is returned to us, shipping costs must be paid again in order to reship the package.  If a refund is preferred, a refund minus shipping costs will be issued.

(APARTMENTS)

Transponder Island Inc. is an online locksmith wholesaler, so we generally ship to businesses.  Transponder Island Inc. cannot guarantee or warranty any shipments that use an apartment shipping address. 

(P.O. BOX)

Any shipping address that has a P.O. box number for delivery will be shipped via USPS.  FedEx does not accept P.O. boxes for any delivery.

ALASKA, HAWAII, GUAM, PUERTO RICO, AND OTHER U.S. TERRITORIES

FedEx Express Overnight and Second Day shipping is available to some of these locations based on address.  Additionally USPS Priority Mail is available, and some orders will qualify for FREE SHIPPING with this option depending on the shipping address, items ordered, and total cost of the order.

(CANADA)

Transponder Island Inc. currently offers two general shipping options to Canada:

  1. FedEx International Canada Shipping: This option comes with tracking, and generally takes 1 to 2 days (longer shipping times may apply) for delivery dependent on the shipping address.  The cost is based on the number and kind of items ordered and the order total cost.
  2. USPS International Priority Mail: This option does not come with tracking and generally takes 5 to 12 days (longer shipping times may apply) for delivery dependent on the shipping address.  The cost is based on the number and kind of items ordered and the order total cost.

(INTERNATIONAL)

All other international countries (excluding Canada and U.S. territories) will be given FedEx International shipping options at checkout based on the number and kind of items ordered and the total cost of the order.  International customers should feel free to call or email Transponder Island Inc. for shipping estimates and details.

SHIPPING TIMES

All orders received on Transponderisland.com will be shipped within 24 hours of the order being placed. Shipping takes place Monday thru Friday. Any orders placed after 4PM EST on Fridays will be shipped the following Monday.  FedEx 2nd Day and Overnight orders received after 5PM EST will be shipped the next day.  FedEx Ground orders received after 3:30PM EST will be shipped next day.

In the event that the delivery of a shipment is delayed or late due to severe weather, or the shipping carrier is unable to make contact with the package recipient as needed for the specific shipping option’s delivery requirement (i.e. the business is closed), a refund will not be issued for the shipping costs.  If you wish to seek a refund of shipping costs on your shipment you must notify Transponder Island within 48 hours of the package being delivered.  All shipping cost refunds must be approved by the shipping manager, and will only be authorized when the shipping carrier admits fault on the shipment and refunds the original shipping charges to Transponder Island.

SHIPPING COST

Transponder Island Inc. strives to offer our customers the most efficient and affordable shipping options that we can. That’s why we currently offer FREE SHIPPING on orders over $100 to shipping addresses in the continental United States. However, free shipping does not apply to Machinery, Lockout Tools, overweight items or drop shipped items. 

 The free shipping options are:

  • Orders over $100 receive free FedEx Ground Shipping
  • Orders over $250 receive free FedEx Express Second Day Shipping. If order weighs over 10 pounds, it will be shipped FedEx Ground for free.  If a faster shipping method is desired, an additional charge will apply.
  • Orders over $1000 receive free FedEx Express Overnight Shipping. If order weighs over 10 pounds, it will be shipped FedEx Ground for free. If a faster shipping method is desired, an additional charge will apply. 

    If you need your order faster than the free shipping option that your order qualifies for we have four affordable shipping options available:

    • FedEx Shipping Ground for $6.99
    • FedEx Express Shipping Second Day for $12.65 (Additional charges apply for orders above 10 pounds)
    • FedEx Express Shipping Overnight for $19.65 (Additional charges apply for orders above 10 pounds)
    • FedEx Express Shipping Overnight with Saturday Delivery for $48.96 (Additional charges apply for orders above 10 pounds)

      Standard FedEx Express Shipping Overnight does not deliver on Saturdays, so overnight orders placed on Friday that are needed by the next day must use the Saturday Delivery option.  Transponder Island Inc. reserves the right to change shipping options or costs at any time.

MISCUTTING
Transponderisland.com cannot be held responsible for the miscutting of keys, except TI brand.
RETURNS

Transponder Island Inc. accepts returns for exchange or refund based on the type of item:

  • Our brand, Transponder Island Inc., transponder keys may be returned for a free exchange
  • Dealer or OEM items and all other Transponder Island Inc. brand items must be returned in the original, unopened bag and cannot be damaged or used in any way.

Refunds are NOT available for machines, programmers, software, and tools.  There is also no refund on dealer or OEM items that have been removed from their original bag or packaging and Transponder Island Inc. brand items, besides transponder keys, that have been removed from their original bag or packaging. 

Additionally shipping costs will NOT be refunded for returns sent for the following reasons, including, but not limited to:

  • Aesthetic reasons
  • Item(s) purchased in error
  • Wrong item(s) ordered
  • Unneeded items
  • Found better pricing

Refunds will be issued at the full discretion of Transponder Island Inc. employees.

WRONG ITEMS

Customers must notify Transponder Island of any errors in the items received within 30 days of purchase. Transponderisland.com guarantees that you will receive the correct item(s)that you have ordered. We are not liable for purchases made in error. Such purchases may be returned or exchanged if they are uncut and/or unprogrammed. Cut and/or programmed items cannot be returned. Shipping costs will not be refunded for customer error returns or exchanges. If it is found that you were sent the incorrect item by our mistake, a refund or exchange may be issued when the item is returned to us. Return labels are available on request.
